On 28 Rabi’ al-Thani 1437 AH corresponding to 7/2/2016 AD, and by Cabinet Resolution No. (62) of 2016 AD, a decision was issued regarding the establishment of the University of Tobruk. The University of Tobruk should consist of the following faculties:
College of Human Medicine.
College of Dental Medicine and Surgery.
Nursing College.
College of Science.
college of Literature .
College of Engineering.
College of Pharmacy.
College of Veterinary Medicine.
College of Public Health.
Faculty of Economics and Political Science.
College of Education.
Faculty of Information Technology.
Agriculture College.
Faculty of Law.
Faculty of Archeology and Tourism.
College of Environmental Sciences.
Faculty of Languages.
College of Physical Education.
The university undertakes the creation of affiliated research centers as needed, and the university grants the following academic degrees:-
Bachelor's and Bachelor's degree in applied and humanitarian disciplines.
PhD degree in applied disciplines.
PhD degree in humanities.
