Kelly Clarkson's fans had varying reactions after she finally admitted to using an unspecified weight loss drug.

The singer-songwriter, 42, made the confession on her talk show on Monday after being at the center of speculation for months about her rapid weight loss.

After coming clean about using a medication for weight loss, which she insisted was not Ozempic, many of her fans took to social media to express their disappointment while others came to her defense.

She reportedly lost 60 pounds, according to Extra TV, although she has not revealed the exact amount.

On Monday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the singer candidly admitted that her doctors prescribed her with a weight loss medication after a blood test.  

She insisted it was not Ozempic but did not reveal nor clarify which drug she used.

'Mine is a different one than people assume, but I ended up having to do that too,' she told her guest Whoopi Goldberg. 

'Everybody thinks it's Ozempic, it's not — it's something else.'

She explained that she was adamant about not taking the drug at first but ended up following her doctor's orders. 

'My doctor chased me for like two years,' she said. 'And I was like, "No, I'm afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems, I was afraid."

She said the medication she takes is 'something that aids in helping break down the sugar,' as her 'body doesn't do it right.'
