Sky Mobile is now back online after experiencing problems that left hundreds of users unable to access the internet on their smartphones for five hours this morning. 

The tech giant took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm that the issue had been resolved, writing: 'Our support teams have investigated and resolved this issue.'

They added: 'Customers impacted should now be able to use their 3G/4G/5G services. 

'We're very sorry again for UltraXtend Preis any inconvenience caused.' 

On social media, many customers were left fuming over the internet provider's 'patchy' service.

Sky has now confirmed that the mobile data issue has been resolved after five hours of service disruptions. Customers should now be able to use mobile data services without disruption
